Full Spectral RenderingWritten by Martin Janda Martin JandaUniversity of West Bohemia Seminar in Czech April 19, 2007 at 9:30 University of West Bohemia, UK417 Abstract(download in PDF) Colour handling is essential part of many areas of computer graphics including image synthesis. Colour is sometimes handled incorrectly due to its abstraction from the spectral nature of light. This seminar will introduce the actual path of light from source to an eye. Also the model of human vision will be described and consequently the basics of colour theory will be introduced. The problems of non spectral handling of colour will be discussed and finally methods for spectral handling of rendering will be described. [ Back ]
